The Author - Stephen Frye

Stephen Frye was educated at Dover College before graduating from Leeds University in the Dark Ages of the last Millennium. During and after a life in commerce, Stephen has been immersed in projects to regenerate and rejuvenate rivers and lakes within the Wey catchment and beyond.

 

Running on from his many years of Chairmanship of the Grayshott Angling Club, he was appointed as an officer of the Wey Valley Fisheries Consultancy Association and chaired the Fisheries Action Plan funding committee. This work culminated in a national award from the River Restoration Centre in 2018.

 

Stephen is also a co-founder of Grayswood Cricket Club, and has volunteered with Samaritans for many years, both as a listener and as a member of the prison outreach team
